 Hello,
welcome to The Home Surgeon web site. Let me tell you a little
about myself. I began my career in the drywall business in 1977.
I am very fortunate in that I received my training in the installation
and finishing of drywall from seasoned professionals whose beginnings
trace back to the housing boom following WWII. The fellows from
whom I received my training were very meticulous craftsman,
who did all their installation and finishing the old fashioned
way and this is how I was taught. Because the people who taught
me learned their trade during the transition from plaster to
drywall construction I have an understanding of both systems.
During my 25-year career I have been involved with all phases
of drywall construction.
I have extensive training in both residential
and commercial applications of drywall. I am comfortable working
with metal or wood framing. I am also experienced with round
work, vaulted ceilings R-C-1 channel, nail or screw on application
and just about any other aspect of drywall. Repairing old
plaster is another of my fortes. According to my satisfied
customers, the thing they like best about me is that I do
all of my own work. In other words when someone contracts
a job with me they have the comfort of knowing that I do all
